The Exhibition Room within the Centre is given over to one theme annually. This yeae we celebrate the stories and life histories of people and places with a connection to Halkirk. Some are exiles, incomers and just-passing=throughers! A wonderful display of photographs, artefacts etc.
Some of the items in each exhibition may find their way into another area of the Centre the following year whilst others will be stored until such time as they can be displayed again one way or another.
There may be items on show that have been loaned just for a particular exhibition - these are returned to their owners at the close of the season. Such items may never again be seen by the general public so do come along and make the most of what may be a once in a lifetime opportunity!
