Group bookings have proved popular, not only with a variety of car enthusiasts but also with other groups and clubs.
The centre can be opened at any reasonable time to accommodate visitors who may be in the vicinity on a closed day. The troops can usually be rallied to make a visit possible. It only takes a phone call.
Out of season, November to end of March, work will be going on to make ready for the following year's new exhibition, and changes to the displays, rotation of vehicles, maintenance work etc, but it may still be possible to accommodate a visit, particularly in cases where the visitor is on holiday from overseas and might be on a family heritage mission. We wouldn't want anyone to forego the opportunity to find that missing link!
